For company registration, we also collect your company name, trade license number, emirate, industry, and related business details.
Verification documents: To verify your company, we collect trade license documents, VAT certificates, and other documents you submit as part of the verification process.
Usage data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Platform, including pages visited, features used, RFQs viewed, quotes submitted, IP address, browser type, device information, and access timestamps.
Communication data: Messages sent through the Platform's messaging system, contact form submissions, and any correspondence with our support team.
Transaction data: Information related to RFQs posted, quotations submitted, contracts awarded, and purchase orders managed through the Platform.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Platform and its features
- Verify company identities and trade license authenticity
- Process and facilitate RFQ postings, quotation submissions, and contract awards
- Enable communication between buyers and suppliers on the Platform
- Send transactional notifications (e.g. new quotes received, RFQ status updates, contract awards)
- Send marketing communications about Platform features and updates (with your consent)
- Analyse usage patterns to improve Platform functionality and user experience
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues
- Comply with legal obligations under UAE law
4. Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- Contractual necessity: Processing required to provide the Platform services you have registered for
- Legitimate interests: Processing for Platform security, fraud prevention, analytics, and service improvement

6. Data retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform services. After account deletion, we retain certain data for a period necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Verification documents are retained for the duration of the company's registration and for a period of 2 years following account closure, as required by UAE commercial regulations.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data, including encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL), secure server infrastructure, access controls, and regular security assessments. While we take all reasonable precautions, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
